Step-by-Step Guide to Installing a Data SIM Card in the iProd Tablet

Installing the SIM Card

To install the SIM card into the iProd IoT Tablet, follow these steps:

1. Open the HMI: Begin by removing the four screws indicated by the arrows to detach the WiFi/4G antenna connectors.

   

2. Remove the Outer Plastic Shell: Unscrew the three screws that hold the gray plastic outer shell. Note: Apply pressure to the inner sides of the shell to ease its removal.

   

3. Access the Internal Components: Unscrew the eight screws (six visible and two on the side of the tablet, as shown by the arrows) to open the bottom of the device and access the interior.

   

4. Detach the Display from the Case: Separate the display from the case by disconnecting the two pressure clips as shown in the figure.

   

5. Remove the SSD: With the display separated, remove the four screws securing the SSD.

   

6. Locate and Release the SIM Module: You will see the SIM module, which is attached to the motherboard. Press on the side tabs to release it.

   

7. Insert the SIM Card: Lift the SIM module from the side where the tabs were released, causing it to tilt upwards. Remove the module, insert the SIM card into the designated slot, and press it until it clicks into place.
