Step-by-step guide to configure your iProd IoT Tablet when the company network is powered through a PoE power supply.
LAN/PoE Configuration
If your network setup is as shown in Figure 1, you only need to configure the LAN network card to allow the iProd IoT Tablet to communicate with both the machine and the company network.
Follow these steps:
- Access the Windows desktop.
- Right-click on the Network and Internet icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Select Open Network and Sharing Center
- A screen will open; click on Ethernet in the top right corner.
- A new screen will appear; click on Properties
- Now, click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) to select and highlight it, then click on the Properties button.
-
A screen will appear displaying the system's IP addresses. Enter the static IP address you want to assign to the device.
Make sure to fill in the fields for Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, DNS, etc., to enable the device to access local networks, the web, and other resources.
Check the box for Use the following IP address, click OK, and then close the window. Once the correct IP address is assigned, the device should be visible on the client’s network.
The network administrator can modify these addresses as needed to ensure the device has the correct network settings, web access, and visibility on specific networks.
