Assigning a Name to a Part Program
How to name a Part Program on iProd Cloud - Steps
When uploading the Part Program, ensure that the nomenclature and format adhere to the following standard. Some machines do not support files that deviate from this standard and may not allow the transfer.
The standard is as follows:
- The file name must not contain spaces or special characters.
- It must have an extension associated with programming language sources (e.g., .C, .CPP, .H, .DSP). Do not remove the extension or add .txt at the end.
- While not mandatory, for ease of identification later, use a description that matches the file name.
- The Position and Notes fields are optional.
